LEVEL

Suitable for those who play golf regularly, ideally with an official handicap. Not suitable for beginners.

COACHING

Players join from all over the world and are assessed and grouped by ability, following a dedicated training programme designed by PGA professional, Simon McGreal. Coaching takes place on the excellent 9-hole course and golf practice facilities on-site at Bradfield College. Each week a competition day is hosted at a local golf club where everyone plays for points. Advanced players enjoy an 18-hole round and developing players make use of the practice area and will play a number of holes on the course.

Coaching sessions involve skill development, technique correction and self-assessment using the golf performance studio with Trackman 4 technology to provide detailed player feedback, including swing analysis. Players progress through skills tests, drills and on-course play, learning effective on-course shot management.

The coaching programme is supported by golf seminars introducing players to topics such as course mindset and present thinking, course etiquette, nutrition and conditioning. Everyone gets an individual review with their coach and a certificate to take home.

GOLF & ENGLISH

Our carefully designed English syllabus is based on the CLIL approach used in prestigious schools worldwide. Students are grouped into the appropriate class for their age and level based on a pre-camp online test and a verbal assessment on day one. At camp, they are immersed in an English-speaking environment 24/7 with teachers staying on-site. As well as general English, we use sports-related English topics in class to engage students in fun and interactive lessons. A combination of traditional classroom techniques, active participation and project work gives students the tools they need to communicate effectively during their coaching sessions and in the wider world. Everyone leaves with an English report from their teacher and advice on how to continue improving their English at home.

ON-SITE FACILITIES:

9 Holes | 2305 metres | Par 33 plus putting green, short game area with bunkers and state-of-the-art indoor performance centre with Trackman 4 technology.
